Terry Fox Walk 2013

Almost 150 community members of all ages walked the 11 kilometres from Metis Beach School to Black Gable Farm, raising money for the Terry Fox Foundation on Friday, 27 September.

Pupils from both the high school and the elementary grades of Metis Beach School were joined by the pupils of Envol school, teachers and community members in raising over $500 for this worthy cause. Next year, they hope to raise $1000.

Metis Beach School would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to making this event a success: students, parents, staff, and community members – your support makes it possible!
