Under the supervision of the Library Services Coordinator, the main mandate of the employee will be to implement programming and animate activities related to the TD Summer Reading Club, and some general activities happening at the libraries.

The contactless services offered by the Métis-sur-Mer library are maintained despite the fact that the MRCs of the eastern part of Lower Saint Lawrence (including La Mitis and Rimouski-Neigette) are going into a state of maximum alert (red zone)

In collaboration with the Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence team and under the authority of the Assistant Director, Culture & Heritage, the person sought will plan, coordinate and develop the services of the two (2) HLSL public libraries: the bilingual Métis-sur-Mer library AND the English-language Rimouski library.
Please note that the Métis-sur-Mer library will reopen to the public starting on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 You will be able to access the books and browse through the collection every Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
