The candidate \u2013 working remotely \u2013 will perform basic accounting tasks and will be supporting the team in administrative tasks. &nbsp; <strong>PRIMARY TASKS<\/strong> Support the Accounting Manager by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks such as (15 hours\/week): &nbsp; <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Help managing day-to-day transactions: accounts\u00a0payable and receivable, cheques, invoices, conciliation of bank and credit card statements<\/li><li>Enter financial information into software program (Simply Accounting\/Sage 50)<\/li><li>Communicate with providers<\/li><li>Assist the Accounting Manager in the management of the payroll<\/li><li>Do a project based accounting based on budget projections<\/li><li>Update budget (Excel)<\/li><\/ul><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>SECONDARY TASKS<\/strong><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Support the Rimouski Office Coordinator with the setting up of the new MailChimp System (5 hours\/week)<\/li><\/ul> &nbsp; <strong>REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Accounting skills<\/li><li>Knowledge of Simply Accounting\/Sage 50<\/li><li>Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel<\/li><li>Bilingual: English \/ French (or advanced French\/English skills)<\/li><li>Ideally related work experience<\/li><\/ul> &nbsp; <strong>APTITUDES: <\/strong>Organized, excellent attention to detail and\u00a0accuracy, high level of\u00a0integrity\u00a0and trustworthiness, excellent analytical, computational and mathematical abilities, good communicator (written\/oral), positive attitude, team player, dynamic &nbsp; <strong>TO APPLY:<\/strong><strong>Please send your r\u00e9sum\u00e9 to Guy Caron at <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:gcaron@heritagelsl.ca\"><strong>gcaron@heritagelsl.ca<\/strong><\/a><strong> before 5 pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
