Our Research Team is recruiting a new Research Assistant to participate in qualitative data analysis for our Community Consultation project, including interview transcription. Help us make a difference by improving knowledge and awareness about our minority community! Our Organization<\/b> Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence (HLSL) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the vitality of the official language minority community (OLMC) of the region, foster the well-being of all its members, and promote its interests. The English-speaking community in the Lower Saint Lawrence is among the smallest and most dispersed OLMCs in Qu\u00e9bec (0.7% of the regional population). Our vision is that the English-speaking community of the Lower Saint Lawrence is inclusive, connected and committed to building a healthier and more vibrant future for all.\u00a0 Our organization supports the development of partnerships, initiatives and services that aim to improve the social, cultural and economic life of our community members in collaboration with our local, regional, provincial and federal partners, including Canadian Heritage, the Community Health and Social Services Network, the CISSS-LSL, and the Secr\u00e9tariat aux relations avec les Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois d\u2019expression anglaise<\/i>. This mission provides a shared purpose to our diverse and bilingual team, guaranteeing a rewarding and stimulating working environment and experience that can make a difference. As a member of our Research Team, you will make a difference by helping to develop and conduct a Needs Assessment of the regional English-speaking community.\u00a0 Our Project<\/b> In 2021, in collaboration with academics in health and social services, our team created a background portrait of the current state of knowledge of the regional English-speaking community and outstanding questions for study, establishing the starting point for the present study. Our study seeks to explore the identity, resources and health and social services needs of the regional official language minority community, and to develop a new portrait of the regional English-speaking community, its resources and its needs. Data collection is ongoing, and includes survey methods, focus group and key informant interviews, and an analysis of the latest data from the Statistics Canada Census of the Population.\u00a0 Your role<\/b> Your role in our team will be to assist with qualitative data analysis for our project, including the transcription and analysis of interview and Focus Group recordings. You will also be given the opportunity to contribute to the publication and dissemination of the results of this study.   Job Description<\/b>Research Assistant in Social Science<\/b> Requirements
