{"id":15915,"date":"2024-05-01T11:46:46","date_gmt":"2024-05-01T15:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/heritagelsl.ca\/2024\/05\/rimouski-needs-assessment-presentation-recap\/"},"modified":"2025-10-24T09:34:54","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T13:34:54","slug":"rimouski-needs-assessment-presentation-recap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heritagelsl.ca\/fr\/rimouski-needs-assessment-presentation-recap\/","title":{"rendered":"Rimouski Needs Assessment Presentation Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\"><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Presentation of Needs Assessment findings in Rimouski<\/h4> HLSL Head of Research and Outreach Dr. Alex Rao gave a presentation of the findings of the Needs Assessment research to a crowd of approximately 30 people in Rimouski last Friday.\u00a0 Rao\u2019s presentation included a review of the motivation and methods, and a preview of the recent census results. She explains that \u201cthe success of the event, however, was in large part because of the discussion that ensued. The community seemed genuinely interested in the results, so there was a lot of feedback, during and after the presentation.\u201d She goes on to say that \u201cthere were a few questions about the results themselves, but the audience also made several suggestions that could explain trends in the data, essentially giving ideas that I can really use during analysis.
