We offer many activities and services from both our Métis and Rimouski centres.

Cultural activities:
Because culture links communities and builds bridges. The list can go on but basically we have workshops, storytelling, author meets, concerts etc.

Health, legal and many other topic leaflets:
A wide variety of pamphlets and information booklets are available in English and French covering topics such as programs for seniors, Educaloi documentation, health & social services, community services, fitness, career opportunities, public information and awareness campaigns, etc.
We offer help navigating the health and social services system (by appointment only)

Historic documentation and archives (Métis only)
We house an extensive collection of historic material and documentation including photographs, articles and books documenting the history of the English-speaking community of the region. These documents are freely available for consultation and research, whether you’re a historian or simply interested in local history.



Our Métis-sur-Mer resource centre includes a bilingual public library which now has a branch offering English books in Rimouski. Both of our libraries are part of Réseau BIBLIO-BSL and home a wide variety of books for adults, teens and young ones. Our collection can be consulted online at (Métis library is 109 and Rimouski is 110) and borrowed via any Réseau BIBLIO-BSL public library for free. Plus we partner with the Mont-Joli, Matane and Rivière-du-Loup libraries where you can find a great selection of English books that are replaced every six months.

We have also carefully put together a English Health & Well-Being Collection with recent titles on different health subjects for the whole family. These are available at either of our libraries, just look for our yellow labels.

All Réseau BIBLIO-BSL public library members also get access to free regional French eBook loans through Tutorials are available on the prêt numérique website and don’t hesitate to ask us for help, we will show you how.
