General information about health activities and services is available at our Resource Centres in Métis-sur-Mer and Rimouski and individual meetings for personalized help accessing services are available by appointment.

We offer a special collection of regularly updated health and wellness books in English for all ages on subjects recommended by our health partners and of interest to our community members. 

    Available at our Metis or Rimouski library and through our partner libraries.

Elder abuse is a reality. To better understand, recognize, and counter it, this guide aims to support any citizen of La Mitis who may observe signs of abuse towards an elderly person or to support seniors who might be victims of abuse.

Comfort Kits for cancer patients ACEQ

It will be given to people who are starting intravenous chemotherapy or immunotherapy at oncology clinics in Eastern Quebec. More than 3,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year, and many are in need of these treatments.

Québec Health Booklet:

The Québec Health Booklet is a virtual tool which allows patients to access health information such as their bloodtest results, xrays, and medication prescription history online. Québec Medical Appointment Scheduling services and the Québec Family Doctor Finder services can also be linked to your virtual Québec Health Booklet.
