Visual Voice Film Project

visual-voice-film-projectIn 2009 Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence, Tortuga Films and Metis Beach School, with the support of Heritage Canada used video to allow anglophone youth to find voice around youth issues. This allowed them to grow, learn and garner new experiences in a creative environment. The goal of the project was not so much the end result as the process of self esteem building, consciousness-raising about youth issues, and the team building that comes within the framework of film making. The film is currently in distribution with Quebec School Boards and in the festival circuit.
