HLSL Receives Knowledge Development Award
At the NPI Reboot 2026 Conference in May, Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence (HLSL) was honoured to receive the Knowledge Development Award in recognition of its leadership in community-based research.
Susan Woodfine, Executive Director, and Anna Cone, NPI Coordinator, accepted the award on behalf of Dr. Alexandra Rao, whose innovative research and dedication to understanding the realities of English-speaking communities have been instrumental to this achievement.
The recognition has sparked significant interest among organizations across Quebec, with many eager to learn more about the work being undertaken at HLSL and the approaches being used to turn research into meaningful community action.
This award reflects the collective efforts of our team and partners and reinforces the value of evidence-based community development.
