Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence & Bibliothèque Francoise-Bédard are delighted to announce a new monthly Family Friendly Film Club in Rivière-du Loup!
The films will be shown in the Salle Bon-Pasteur, on the top floor of the Maison de la Culture. Snacks and softs drinks will be available, and the event will be followed by a craft activity.
On September 13, the film is Northlore: Campfire stories of wild encounters with the spirit world in the great Canadian North.

Weaving animation and live action, Northlore explores the mystical stories and connections forged between the people and wildlife in the North of Canada. With each new story, the film celebrates the transformative power of the human spirit when confronted with the wilderness. Courtesy of the NFB.
Ahead of Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30, this film celebrates Indigenous storytelling and culture across Turtle Island.
This film will be presented in English with French subtitles. This event is suitable for families, and children aged 6 – 12 years old. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Solo adults will not be admitted.
The event is free. Advance registration is useful to us, but you can also simply show up on the day of the event.
