McGill Dialogue Program
Our McGill Retention and Recruitment initiative facilitates Quebecers’ access to comprehensive Health & Social Services in English. As part of this effort, we collaborate with educational institutions to promote health and social services careers. The Dialogue McGill Community Leadership Bursary Program offers financial assistance to students pursuing full-time health and social services studies. Bursaries ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 are available at the vocational, college, or university level for bilingual students intending to build their careers in our region post-graduation. Applications for college and university-level bursaries are typically open in the spring, while those for vocational-level bursaries are available in the fall. For further details, please contact Anna Cone or Annie Lecavalier.
Legal Information Service
Our Legal Information resources are powered by a partnership with Éducaloi, a renowned non-profit organization that aims to improve access to justice since 2000. Éducaloi’s core mission is to clarify how Quebec law affects individuals’ rights and responsibilities through legal information, education, and expert-approved resources. Through our collaboration, we offer free legal information and workshops in English explicitly tailored for youth and educators. Our resource centres maintain an updated collection of Éducaloi pamphlets and guides, available on request. Our team assists those seeking legal information or arranging workshops or training sessions with Éducaloi. Contact us at info@heritagelsl.ca with any inquiries or for assistance.
