Let’s take a walk together and explore historic Rimouski!
We’re proud to be partnering with the Société rimouskoise du patrimoine (SRDP) to offer a guided tour, in English, of the historic centre of Rimouski! The tour, happening on August 14 at 1:30 p.m., will last approximately 1 hour and will cover a little over 1.5 km. Registration required. Maximum of 15 people.
Old Rimouski Tour
This English guided tour is based on the premise that the history of buildings is also that of the people who lived in them. With an English guide-interpreter, you will discover the people who populated the eastern part of downtown Rimouski, a neighborhood spared by the Great Fire of 1950, and how they shaped the region’s history. Stories both big and small will be on the agenda!
Departure: across the street from the old train station at Parc de la Gare (57 Évêché Street East)
