Rimouski History Walking Tour: The Great Fire of 1950
We’re partnering once again with the Société Rimouskoise du patrimoine to offer a walking tour in English of historic Rimouski. This summer, the tour will revisit the catastrophic Rimouski fire of May 1950, which remains the greatest disaster in the city’s history. Discover the stories of solidarity that shaped the rebuilding efforts, and explore the traces this event has left on today’s urban landscape.
