Build Your Own Guitar Pedal

14:00-17:00
Rimouski Resource Centre

Have you always wanted to have a guitar pedal? What about building your own? We have the workshop for you!

Community member Tory Gauthier (diploma of Music and Digital Media) will teach you how to build a simple “fuzz” circuit (a distortion effect) and you’ll learn the basics of soldering, what each electrical part in the circuit is, what its function and how to modify the circuit to change the sound of the effect. There is no need of prior knowledge of soldering or how guitar effect pedals’ work and by the end you will leave with a fully working guitar pedal.

Registration is required as spaces are limited to 5 per workshop.
