Burns’ Night – A Scottish Poetry Workshop

18:30-20:00
Bibliothèque Françoise-Bédard, 67 rue du Rocher, Rivière-du-Loup

On January 25, Scotland celebrates the life and work of radical firebrand poet Robert Burns (1759 – 1796). Come learn more about Rabbie Burns, about his writing in Scots, and perhaps even have a go yourself. This workshop will be facilitated in English, by Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence Cultural Coordinator Rachel McCrum, and participants can write in their language of choice. The workshop will be followed by a short Open Mic, and a taste of Scottish whisky.

The event is free of charge, but please register in advance.
