Health Canada issues a $36,000 fine
Health Canada issued a $36,000 penalty to the Centre Agricole Petit Bernier (2005) Inc. from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, a retailer specializing in agricultural products. The company has manufactured and sold unregistered and unlabelled pest control products to the general public. Pest control products that were not packaged in accordance with the conditions of registration under the Pest Control Products Act were also sold.
