Rob Lutes – The Stories behind the Songs  Come and meet award-winning singer-songwriter Rob Lutes who will recount some fascinating stories behind well-known songs from the past, highlighting some of the major movements in Western popular music beginning in the 18th century. Rob will perform the songs on guitar and banjo. Bio: A masterful fingerstyle guitarist with an unmistakable, soulful voice, Rob Lutes has steadily built a collection of exquisite songs that inhabit the intersection of blues, folk, Americana, and the contemporary singer-songwriter genre. His 8th album, Come Around, was released in April 2021 and garnered four Canadian Folk Music Award nominations. Info: culture@heritagelsl.ca

Rob Lutes – Les histoires derrière les chansons  Venez rencontrer l’auteur-compositeur-interprète primé Rob Lutes.Il racontera des histoires fascinantes concernant des chansons connues du passé, en mettant en lumière certains des principaux mouvements de la musique populaire occidentale à partir du 18e siècle. Rob interprétera les chansons à la guitare et au banjo. Biographie : Guitariste magistral, doté d’une voix incomparable et pleine d’âme, Rob Lutes n’a cessé de constituer une collection de chansons exquises qui se situent à l’intersection du blues, du folk, de l’Americana et du genre contemporain des auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes.
