VESSEL OF HOPE

Exterior mural – Call for volunteers!

Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence and artists Lynn Fournier and Karine Berthelette are working on a public work of art. The theme explored and researched is resiliency through art.

How can creating together help small communities find courage and hope in difficult times?

Art helps us build stronger, tighter knit, and more resilient communities. Participating in a public work of art gives us the opportunity to leave our imprint and contribute to a project that is so much bigger than ourselves.

Join artists Lynn Fournier and Karine Berthelette and volunteer to help us work on the container mural. Based on your interests/skills, we have several tasks available for you to work on.

No art experience necessary. We are there to guide you.

Where: outside Metis Beach School.

When: During the whole month of July (except July 15th), Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If it’s raining, we cannot work.
