What does green tea taste like? And what about black tea? Where does your favourite tea come from, and how was it made? In these workshops, you will steep and compare two teas of the same colour but of different origins, expanding your vocabulary for tea appreciation. While sipping your teas, you will also learn more about the process of making tea from leaf to cup, and learn (and share!) about the tea cultures behind and around your tea samples.
This workshop is made for tea drinkers of all levels of knowledge. When you sign up, you will be sent tea samples that we will prepare together during the workshop.
About our workshop facilitator:
Originally from Rimouski, Aimée Lévesque has just returned to her hometown after spending 14 years in various locations – Montréal, mostly, but also Paris, Hiroshima, Sarajevo, and Istanbul. She loves to share her passion for languages through her teaching activities, and she has also launched a Rimouski-based tea business, Le bruit de l’eau, in 2020, because she believes that tea is the perfect way to connect with other people, but also with oneself.
