CANADA DAY 2020!
CELEBRATING A NEW WAY IN STYLE!

How can you enjoy Canada Day Celebrations this year while respecting government regulations?  Our colourful and tasty answer is a Canada Day Parade of Homes, followed by a free delicious summer treat for the kids – their choice of gelato, sorbet or ice cream from Pierre-Olivier Ferry’s Atelier culinaire with its mouth-watering Les Boules Glacées de Métis-sur-Mer.  That’s as long as you participate, of course, and while supplies last (if they run out, kids will get another gift of appreciation).

Participating is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Fill out the online registration form below before Thursday, June 25. You could also contact Pam Andersson by phone (418-936-3016) or email (pandersson@heritagelsl.ca) to sign up. A Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence celebration package (with a little something extra for kids!) will be available for pick-up or delivered to you.
  2. By no later than noon on Wednesday, July 1, decorate and photograph your mailbox, yard, front door, window, car – anything you can think of – and text, e-mail, or post on Facebook (tag #HLSLCanadaDay2020) the photo of your handiwork for publication.
  3. On Canada Day, download from our website a “Route des celebrations” with the roads where decorated locations can be found, then walk, bike or drive to enjoy your neighbours’ handiwork!
