In collaboration with the Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence team and under the authority of the Assistant Director, Culture & Heritage, the person sought will plan, coordinate and develop the services of the two (2) HLSL public libraries: the bilingual Métis-sur-Mer library AND the English-language Rimouski library.
Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence (HLSL) is pleased to inaugurate the collective container mural “Vessel of Hope” at Metis Beach school, a public work of art that celebrates the resilience of our community. With a grant from Canadian Heritage and contributions from its partners, this project took place between April and October 2021, with several community workshops involving many volunteers and participants.
Please note that the Métis-sur-Mer library will reopen to the public starting on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 You will be able to access the books and browse through the collection every Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence presents a storytelling event with Mike Burns at the Café-sur-mer. You must register as places are limited. Come alone or with friends and family. Please email culture@heritagelsl.ca for more information.
