Decluttering for Your Health: Strategies for Coping with Chronic Disorganization, Hoarding and Downsizing
With Kathleen Murphy Certified Professional Organizer, Chronic Disorganization and Hoarding Specialist, and Certified Professional Consultant on Aging

 

This presentation will cover what you need to know about chronic disorganization, downsizing, and hoarding. The speaker will share definitions and misconceptions and real-life stories to show approaches and processes that lead to successful results. 

Objectives 

  1. Participants will learn about the definitions, misconceptions and some of the causes that lead up to chronic disorganization, hoarding and downsizing.
  2. Participants will be informed about resources available that can support taking action. 
  3. Participants will understand that they are not alone in facing these challenges and there is no reason to be ashamed when facing a situation of disorganization, be it minor or major.

About Your Presenter Kathleen Murphy, the Director and Founder of Organizing Options®, has made it her mission to help seniors reduce the stress of their disorganization, and bring them peace of mind. She is recognized for her gentle approach and professionalism, she consults one-on-one, delivers online workshops, and specializes in working with people with Chronic Disorganization, Downsizing, and Hoarding issues. She is sensitive and familiar with Dementia and Alzheimer’s as she is the primary caregiver for her 96- year-old mother.
