Our Heroes – Memorial Design Unveiling and Exhibition

Join us Saturday, August 22, 2-4 p.m. at 370 Beach Road, Métis-sur-Mer, to find out about the design of the monument to be built in Métis to honour the region’s veterans, serving Canadian Armed Forces members, and emergency responders.  See photos and other memorabilia, and hear the voices of Metisites, that are part of the exhibition showcasing the region’s wartime contributions (yes, most of you are too young to know that war reached Metis’s shores!). Find out how you can help in this partnership between Veterans Affairs Canada, Heritage Lower Saint Lawrence, and the Ville de Métis-sur-Mer.  Refreshments provided … remember to wear your mask!”
